I hate when someone plays devil's advocate, and I assumed that Whoopi was doing that. I paid no attention to her argument because that part of me that cringes starting cringing. I take no issue with people admiring the genius of his work, as I think it should be appreciated, but he should be in jail for raping a 13-year-old. Admire him, but hold him to the same standards as we would for any other individual who committed the same crime. I used to be a fan but hearing many of her views on "The View" have left me wishing she would go away. Quite often it seems like she is a bully and has a bad attitude. This is not a knee-jerk reaction to Whoopi Goldberg. I have followed her career since "The Color Purple" and my feelings for her now are in response to things she has said and done on "The View".
